With more and more focus being brought to mental health and the emphasis on mindfulness there can sometimes feel like there is little space for the more negative aspects of ourselves.
What I love about this piece is acknowledging both the shadow and the light. We do not need to disown our negative feelings or our shadow self. It’s easy to love the happier parts of ourselves the struggle is in embracing all of ourselves.
